大阪大学－グローニンゲン大学　大学間協定締結20周年記念ミニシンポジウム　Meta-Science – Towards a Science of Meaning and Complex Solutions　2022年11月7日(月)14:30～17:30（オンライン開催、参加費無料、要申込）

大阪大学とグローニンゲン大学（オランダ）は2002年の大学間交流協定締結以降、2005年にはグローニンゲン大学キャンパス内に大阪大学グローニンゲン教育研究センターが開設されるなど、これまでにさまざまな交流が行われてきました。（大阪大学欧州拠点についてはこちら）

今回、本協定締結20周年を記念し、 11月7日（月）に大阪大学－グローニンゲン大学大学間協定締結２０周年記念ミニシンポジウム　「Meta-Science – Towards a Science of Meaning and Complex Solutions」を開催致します。

「Meta-Science – Towards a Science of Meaning and Complex Solutions」

科学は、気候変動や貧困などの地球規模の諸課題に対処する上でなくてはならない知です。また私たち人間が何をなすべきかについては、倫理的な知に委ねられています。
しかし、私たちがとらえる世界やなすべき行為にどのような意味があるのかを知らなければ、社会課題をどう理解し、どう解決し、そしてどのような未来に向かって進むのかを定めることはできません。
私たちは、意味の科学を必要とするといってよいでしょう。「知りうること」と「なすべきこと」に意味を与え、「望みうること」を明らかにする知です。意味の科学を打ち立て、科学や倫理も含めて、人類全体で複雑に絡み合った諸課題に解決を与え、未来を切り開きたい。このような願いを込めてミニシンポジウムを開きます。
